The Magnetic Penetrameter is an octagonal shaped indicator made up of eight segments; one side is covered by a shim. This instrument meets the requirements of MIL-SDT 271D, MIL-S-23284, ASTM, ASME Sec. V, NAV SHIPS 250-1500, B & WS102T, P.S. 21201 and MIL-STD-1949A.
